Cagliari (Italy), July 15th, 2026 - This July isn´t just the month when everyone dreams of escaping the heat and taking a break from work. It´s also the best time to secure an entry to the 12th Cagliari Urban Trail Run at a discounted rate.
Registration is now open for the 12th edition of the event, which will once again bring participants through the streets of Cagliari by night with a 10 km competitive race and a non-competitive walk, available over 6 km and, new for this year, 3 km, on September 12th.
Organised by GLEsport in the city of Cagliari, under the auspices of the UISP Cagliari Territorial Committee APS, with the patronage and support of the Municipality of Cagliari, and backed by Despar Sardegna, Foniù, and CHEMU Craft Beer, the Cagliari Urban Trail Run takes participants through some of the city´s most historic, distinctive and picturesque locations, covering paved roads, sidewalks, gardens, stairways and off-road sections.
Until July 31st, entry to the Race is available at the early bird rate of €18 for FIDAL/Runcard members, EPS members, and international athletes. From August 1st to August 23rd, the entry fee will be €20, increasing to €22 for registrations completed by September 6th. Any remaining race bibs will then be available at €28.
The Walk also benefits from discounted registration until July 31, with an entry fee of just €12. Participants will once again join the traditional fluorescent stream winding through the historic districts of Villanova, Stampace, Marina, and Castello. From August 1st to August 23rd, the fee will be €14; from August 24th to September 6th, €16; and, subject to availability, registrations will remain open until September 12th at €18.
Registration includes: an official event T-shirt; race bib to be attached to the T-shirt; integrated timing chip (Race only); flashlight (Walk only); a Despar goodie bag; fluorescent wristband; on-course assistance and refreshment stations, as well as post-event refreshments.
Registration for the 12th Cagliari Urban Trail Run is open until Sunday, September 6, 2026, both online (LINK) and at the following outlets: Deriu Sport (Viale Colombo 290, Quartu Sant´Elena), The Runaway (Via Salvatore Farina 44, Cagliari), and Decathlon Santa Gilla.
